Uploading a Course Preview Page

After you have created a course preview page using the BC course preview page html template, you will need to upload the file to Blackboard's public course folder.

Step 1. Use the Build Tab and under Designer Tools, click on File Manager. This will reveal all of your Course Folders.

Step 2. Double click on the Public Folder. That is where you will store your Course Preview Page. Click on "Get Files" and locate on your computer where your Course Preview Page is saved.

Click on the "My Computer" icon and you will be able to located on your computer where you have saved your Course Preview Template. Once you have located it, click on the file and it will upload into your Public Files.

You could also make a folder in your Public Files called "Course Preview Page". This will allow you to find it easier in case you need to access the original document.

Step 3. After your file has been uploaded to the Public Files folder, click on the Manage Course link in the Designer Tools menu and select Course Preview Page Setup.

Step 4. Select the Browse for Course Preview Page icon to locate your uploaded Course Preview Page. Click on the radio button to the left of the file name and click the OK link/button at the bottom of the class files window.
