Creating Group Activities

Step 1: Under Instructor Tools, select Group Manager (see figure below). Note: When working with the Group Manager tool, you must be within the Teach Tab.

Step 2: Select the group(s) for whom you would like to create an activity by checking the corresponding boxes (see figure below).

Step 3: From the Create Group Activity dropdown box, select the group activity (either Discussion topic or Chat room) that you would like to create and click the Go icon .

Step 4: Fill in the specifics for your group activity, and click the Save button. Note: If you need assistance with this step, refer to the 'Creating a Discussion Topic' and/or 'Creating a Chat or Whiteboard Room' tutorials.
