Grading Student Assignments
Step 1: Under Course Tools, select Assignments (see figure below). Note: Assignments must be graded within the Teach Tab.

Step 2: From the main Assignment page, locate the assignment you wish to view and click its ActionLink icon
. From the ActionLink menu, choose View Submissions (see figure below).

Step 3: From the Assignment Dropbox screen, click the Submitted tab. Choose the name of the assignment that you wish to view submissions for from the View by dropdown box (see figure below).

Step 4: Locate a student submission to view and click its ActionLink icon
. From the ActionLink menu, choose Review Submission.
Step 5: The student's Submission screen will appear (see figure below). View student attachments by clicking on the attachment(s) within the Student Attachments section. Note: Student attachments will appear in a new window.

Step 6: Enter comments for the submitted work in the Grader/Reviewer Comments text box.
Step 7: Click the Add Attachments button to attach one or more files to the submission. Note: This file will be submitted to the student upon the grading of the submission.
Step 8: Chose an option within the Save Options section:
a) Select Return to Student for Further Editing if additional submissions are required.
b) Select Save for Further Review and Editing if you want to evaluate the submission at a later time.
c) Select Return Graded Submission to Student with the Following Grade to submit a final grade for the student. If you choose this option, enter the number of points the student earned on the assignment in the Out of text box.
Step 9: Click the Save button to return to the main Assignment Dropbox screen. From the Assignment Dropbox screen, you will see the status of the student assignment is 'Graded', and you will see the grade (e.g., 20/20) (see figure below). Repeat this process to grade additional student submissions.
