Adding Course Tools Step 1: To add tools to your course (e.g., assignments, assessments, discussions, calendar, etc.), select Manage Course under Designer Tools (see figure below). Note: Course Tools can be added from either the Build or Teach Tab.
Step 2: From the Manage Course page (see figure below), click the 'Tools' hyperlink to add organizational, communication, content, and/or student tools to your course.
Step 3: Add tools to your course by selecting the appropriate check boxes. Click the 'save' button.
