Exporting Grades to Excel Spreadsheet

After completing grades for the semester return to the Teach Tab, Grade book. Click the
View All and Export to Spreadsheet.

Select the Tab-delimited if not already selected ,and click Export.

Click Save.

A dialog box will prompt you to enter a filename. Be sure to name the file something that
will be recognized later. Be sure to add the extension as a .xls even though the type of
file is a text document. Do not try to change that.

Open the spreadsheet when prompted or to go to the location where saved
and open the spreadsheet.

In order to reduce the size of the cells select the top row, which are the categories
of assignments and assessments.

Click Format, cells, and select the Alignment tab. On the right hand side, under orientation,
click the red diamond, and pull the diamond to the top. This will illustrate that the text will be vertical.

Move your cursor between the first and second column and double-click. All columns
should move to the left. Select the vertical columns and move across to choose all the
columns you wish to

To print the spreadsheet click File, Page setup. The Page tab should be selected and choose landscape.

Click the Sheet tab. Select Gridlines.

Click Print Preview to view your document. If you have many columns and you
wish to have all columns on one page go back to Page Setup and select Margins.

Adjust the margins so that all columns will appear on the same page. Click
Print Preview to check page.

Click print when complete.
