Assessments

Welcome to Assessments!

The assessments tool is used to deliver online tests/quizzes on course content. Instructors may include one or more of the following types of assessment questions: (1) multiple choice, (2) true-false, (3) jumbled sentence, (4) fill-in-the-blank, (5) matching, (6) combination, (7) calculated, (8) short answer, and (9) paragraph. Instructors may also configure assessment settings such as length of time allowed, availability, number of attempts allowed, and what results or feedback (if any) will be displayed to students upon assessment submission.

Your instructor will determine if assessments may be taken off campus, or set up to be taken in the e-Testing Center either as a group at one time or individually within a certain timeframe. Accordingly, it is essential for you to know how to take exams using the assessments tool. Note: Uses and application of the assessments tool will vary from course to course. The following illustrations will demonstrate how to take assessments from within your e-learning courses.
