Course Tools
A tool is a function in your e-learning course that allows you to perform specific activities (e.g., send a mail message, contribute to a discussion, access the course syllabus, view announcements, etc.). Links to tools are listed under the Course Tools menu, which is located in the left-hand margin of your e-learning course no matter where you are in the coursesite.
The course tools menu allows you easy access to various activities (e.g., mail, syllabus, announcements, discussions, etc.). The following will demonstrate how to access specific course tools, expand and collapse the course tools menu, and provide you with a means for knowing when new information has been posted to various sections of your course.
